For employees and employers, before it reaches a tribunal.

Dismissals, settlement agreements, discrimination and contracts. Most matters settle; we make sure the settlement is a good one.

How we work

How we work →

No red tape

The same five steps for every matter, untied and laid out, so you always know what happens next.

  1. First call or message

Tell us briefly what happened. We check there's no conflict of interest and tell you whether we can help.

  2. First consultation

45 minutes with the lawyer who would run your matter. You leave with your options and what each would cost.

  3. Engagement letter

The fee, the scope and who does what, in writing. Nothing starts until you agree it.

  4. The work

Your lawyer keeps you updated at every step, by phone or email, as you prefer.

  5. Closing letter

A short summary of what was done, what you should keep and anything to watch for.

The lawyers who answer the phone

Four of us, each with one area we know inside out.

We would rather tell you in the first meeting that you don't need us than send you a bill for finding out.

Notes from the file

The Brief

A short letter four times a year: changes in the law that affect you, explained in plain words.

Tell us what happened. We'll tell you what's next.

A first consultation is 45 minutes with the lawyer who would run your matter. You leave knowing your options and what each would cost.

Questions about the firm, fees and how we work

Hello. I can tell you what we do, what it costs and how to book a consultation. I can't give legal advice on your situation; a lawyer will.
